SMT and Aging Test

Unlike other manufacturers who outsource their SMT, we have our own SMT equipment and factory located on the 4th floor. Once PCBAs SMT are completed, the PCBAs are sent for firmware burning and functional aging test. Then they’ll be sent to the product assembly line if their quality passes. 

This helps us to reduce logistics costs and minimize products failure waste resulting from transportation. The final result is that we can offer distributors a more cost-effective smart lock, help you earn more share and profit.

Assembly Process

Workers assemble all hardware materials into a final lock product. It includes: attaching the PCBA to the lock enclosure, assembling biometric sensors, lock cylinder, mortise, motors and some transmission components.

The assembly process is one of the most expensive in our factory because it needs many workers. We have professional engineers who have experience of Foxconn production. Through continuous adjustment and optimization, we increase production efficiency and reduce costs. That we provide our distributors with high-quality and cost-effective Philips smart locks.

We set over 10 test stations on the line to ensure fingerprint, password, card, hardware, etc. function are all good.

Package and Pallet

After the function test, there’ll be 2 stations to inspect the product appearance, in case the scratches, deformations, and painting defects products flow to the package station.

Then the Philips smart lock will be packaged in the individual box, then put in a carton box, then lay on the pallet.

Second, our Incoterm is EXWorks-Zhongshan, even though many people said an EXWorks Incoterm is an agreement that maximizes the buyer’s risk and responsibility, by requiring the seller to only make the goods available for the buyer at their warehouse or dock. It’s true that the distributor will take more responsibility, but our side will support shipment like FOB terms. Many companies charge more than the actual FOB fee, because they don’t want to bear the risk of extra cost. But we want to lower the distributor cost as much as we can. If you prefer other terms, like FOB, we can talk and decide what’s best for you.

Delivery Time

Third, the delivery time, our goal is to deliver all goods within 5-7 business when payment is confirmed. How to guarantee this? Usually, we’ll prepare around 20,000 sets in advance, these models are based on sales forecasts from all distributors. But please note that in unforeseen circumstances, like you order the bare selling models and we don’t have stock in advance, we need to discuss and place new orders to the factory, the delivery time will take 45-60 days.

Warranty

Fourth, the warranty is 2 years, all Philips locks are covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. During this time, the manufacturer will offer free spare parts that are found to be defective due to materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, or normal wear and tear. Meanwhile, we’ll have a professional technical team to support quality issue debug and fix.

The door thickness is at least 38mm. Philips locks support 38-60mm, 60-90mm, 90-120mm thickness doors. Many wood doors, plastic doors, sliding doors, and metal doors are fine. Consumers can check your door with local distributors.

Do I need to purchase a new door to install Philips Digital Lock?

No, first, the old door thickness is 38mm minimum. 

Second, the old hole to the door edge is 60mm/70mm, distributors can use a template to drill the door hole to fix the Philips Digital Lock.

Third, the distance between the main door and gate is 80mm minimum, otherwise it’ll damage the handle.
